Transformation: from builder-grade, late 90s space to a cozy, modern home.

Living Room.

Our client had a variety of requests. She wanted a cozy space to relax in, to remove the old carpet and orange oak that was everywhere throughout the home, and fresh paint. We designed a stunning space by replacing the carpet with a laminate flooring, swapping the oak trim with an eased-edge white trim. We painted the space in an off-white color and added this gorgeous, tiled fireplace! Since we also offer a full suite of interior design services, she opted to have us complement the design with new furnishings and décor.

Master Bedroom.

My client wanted a bedroom that was bright, cozy, and full of texture. We ripped everything out and built a fireplace. (Because what is more cozy than a fireplace?) We then painted the room in a creamy white, added the same high-end laminate flooring we did in the living room, and dressed the room up with beautiful furnishings and soft white lighting.

Spare Bedroom.

This room was intended to be a room for the grand kiddos when they visited. The task was to create something colorful and safe for little ones. We removed the carpet and extended the laminate from the living room into this room. Then we painted the walls and doors, replaced the oak trim, removed the old fan and added a stunning light fixture. We moved the TV outlet out of reach for the kids and added a custom floating shelf to hold the cable box and remote. To finish the space off, we added colorful curtains, a washable rug, and a trundle bed with super soft bedding.

Bath & Laundry.

This laundry and bath share the same space. We removed the 90s oak vanity and tile and added our own Soci tile, repainted the walls, and installed a beautiful blue/green vanity. We made the vanity a feature point by adding a geometric wall detail in the same color as the vanity instead of doing tile. A white quartz top and brass cabinet hardware pulls this space together. In the laundry we added built-ins around the refrigerator and a custom 24” deep floating shelf. The shelf is low enough to be able to open the washer and deep enough to be able to comfortably reach detergent and towels.

Details.

Handpicked light fixtures, custom accents, fireplaces, and personalized design and decorating turned this home from boring, cookie-cutter to cozy, custom, and perfect for their lifestyle.
